About Us

Our club consists of performers across six age groups from ages 2-75, supported by our coaches, assistant coaches and class helpers. We are currently the largest calisthenics club in Victoria with over 190 students. Our club has been providing calisthenics classes to the community since 1955, operating from our purpose built studios at 11 Walter Street, Moorabbin.

Calisthenics is the sport with performing at its heart. We offer a unique combination of dancing, singing, gymnastics and technical skills for girls, boys and women. Calisthenics develops strong, confident performers through teamwork. Discipline and technique, grace and poise are fostered in a fun and friendly club environment where families can connect and performers can develop skills, and friendships, that last a lifetime. Our performers learn skills that inspire them to take centre stage at competitions, and in life.

Bentleigh Calisthenics is a community not-for-profit club run by a dedicated committee of management. Bentleigh Calisthenics was officially the first calisthenics club in Victoria to gain affiliate level accreditation in the Calisthenics Victoria Leading Club program and now is only one of a handful of clubs in Victoria to hold our Gold Level Leading Club accreditation. 

We pride ourselves in having a large, dedicated and passionate coaching team to help cater to all performer needs and abilities.  Our coaches are all registered members of the Victorian Calisthenics Coaches Association and regularly undertake professional development courses.  

We offer competition classes for all age groups with all performers registered and insured through our State Sporting body - Calisthenics Victoria. Our classes are open to performers of all abilities where we encourage each individual to challenge themselves and reach their full potential.

We offer a variety of classes to suit our members busy schedules with multiple class times available. We also are proud to offer all our performers the opportunity to participate as soloists to further develop their skills and experience one on one coaching.
